A Story About the Founder

F3.png

Hi, I'm Luci, the founder of The Divine in the Daily, formerly Go to the Grass. I am so glad you're here!

I believe there is more good than bad in the world. I see it every single day in small kindnesses, in beauty we almost overlook, and in the quiet ways the Divine whispers through our lives. This space exists to shine a light on those moments because once you start noticing them, you cannot help but share them. And goodness shared becomes goodness multiplied.

my name, I am there in their midst.

Faith and Advocacy

Every day, I catch glimpses of the Divine. Sometimes they are bold and impossible to miss, other times subtle and easy to overlook. I share those glimpses here because I hope they spark something in you, too! â€‹My prayer is that this community becomes a ripple effect, where stories of love and light remind us all that God is still at work in the world.

Quietude

Life is loud, demanding, and relentless. But here is what I have learned: step outside, take your shoes off, let your bare feet rest in the grass, and breathe. In the stillness of nature, distractions fade and what matters most rises to the surface. That is where we hear the Still, Small Voice, the One that has been guiding us all along.

Artistic Offering

Inspired by Rick Rubin’s insights into an artist’s journey, I see my writing and creating as an offering to God. It is a mission laid upon my heart: to use the gifts I have been given to spread hope and light. My prayer is that my work nudges others to do the same with their own gifts, whatever they may be.

And to those who first found me under Go to the GrassI am not splitting the brand; I'm braiding it. Divine in the Daily is the home, and Go to the Grass will always be the front porch swing, welcoming and familiar, a place to pause and breathe.

I hope you find this community a place of inspiration and connection. The world may look dark, but only because too many of us are hiding our light.

It's time to shine!

Let's light it up!
